Der Teil 1 beschäftigt sich mit grundsätzlichen Anforderungen an Innenwände und regelt die mechanische Festigkeit, die Oberflächenbeschaffenheit, die Ebenheit, den Brandschutz, den Wärmeschutz sowie den Schallschutz. Ferner werden die zulässigen Öffnungen und Schlitze in Zwischenwänden festgelegt.
