This Austrian Standard includes requirements as well as rules for the use and processing of rendering and plastering mortars according to ÖNORM B 3344, ÖNORM B 3345, ÖNORM EN 998-1 or ÖNORM EN 13279-1 and ÖNORM EN 15824, which are applied as internal and external plastering on walls and ceilings.
The procedure and contract provisions for the execution of plastering works are specified in ÖNORM B 2210. Processing of acoustical and fire safety plastering mortars as well as of special plastering mortars (such as earth plasters), of prefabricated elements (e.g. gypsum plasterboards), of external thermal insulation composite systems as well as the treatment of surfaces with levelling compounds, coatings, paints and varnishes, etc. are not covered by this Austrian Standard.
