Diese ÖNORM regelt das Verfahren, mit dem von akkreditierten Prüfstellen der Nennwert der Wärmeleitfähigkeit, wie er in ÖNORM B 6015-2 definiert ist, für Dämmstoffe, die nicht durch entsprechende Produktnormen geregelt sind, und dessen Einhaltung zu ermitteln sind. Dieser Nennwert der Wärmeleitfähigkeit kann zum Vergleich verschiedener Dämmstoffe herangezogen werden (z.B. U-Wert, R-Wert). Berechnungen sind mit entsprechenden Bemessungswerten, definiert in ÖNORM B 6015-2, durchzuführen.
