Weiters sind Prüfverfahren und die Vorgehensweise zur Beurteilung der Konformität für Rauchschürzensysteme in dieser ÖNORM beschrieben. Diese ÖNORM gilt nur für in Gebäuden installierte Rauchschürzen. Sie gilt nicht für als Rauchschürzen genutzte Bauteile des Bauwerks. Diese Änderungen AC + A2 (bereits im Dokument berücksichtigt) betreffen das komplette Grunddokument EN 13240:2001.
