ÖNORM B 3358-1

This Austrian Standard represents the basis for the material-adequate choice of of non-load bearing single-leaf or multiple-leaf interior walls of variable structure, production and/or application. This ÖNORM does not apply to: - mobile interior walls (e.g. sliding shutter walls, folding walls) - cabinet walls -interior timber walls - interior glass walls. This ÖNORM refers to the product standards for the building materials to be used. Processing directives, function-related requirements as well as possible requirements for building physics are available from the respective specifications and Austrian Standards. Basically, this ÖNORM applies to walls manufactured on site or prefabricated walls. The tests specified in the different product standards are intended to provide evidence of consistent product quality and/or of fulfilment of standard requirements for the respective product.
