Clauses 5 to 12 of this Austrian Standard give the general terms of contracts for works of building and civil engineering construction using a partnership model. This ÖNORM applies to major constructions and complex building projects. Jointly with the standards to be quoted in the contract (e.g. Austrian Standards with technical content), the provisions of this ÖNORM are intended to represent the consistent terms of building contracts. The relevant particular conditions for individual cases shall be specified by the building works themselves as well as by the specific circumstances of the performance delivery. This ÖNORM does not apply to consumer transactions.
