Die vorliegende ÖNORM ist als Grundlage für die einfache Überprüfung von Feuerungsanlagen anzuwenden. Sie ist für Anlagen, die mit flüssigen Brennstoffen gemäß ÖNORM C 1108 und ÖNORM C 1109, Brenngasen gemäß ÖNORM C 1301 und ÖVGW G 31 (für Erdgas) sowie flüssigen biogenen Brennstoffen gemäß ÖNORM EN 14213 und VORNORM ÖNORM C 1115 befeuert werden, anzuwenden. Diese Überprüfung ist im Hinblick auf die energiewirtschaftliche Zweckmäßigkeit und die Umweltfreundlichkeit (Abgasverlust) vorzunehmen. Sie ersetzt weder eine sicherheitstechnische noch eine volle funktionelle Überprüfung, weder Kundendienst noch Wartungsarbeiten; sie ersetzt nicht Einzelabnahme- oder Typenprüfungen.
