The present ÖNORM contains requirements for planning of central heating systems with or without domestic hot water systems and has to be used as addition to ÖNORM EN 12828:2014. The standard supersedes the ÖNORM H 5151-1.
The document will define requirements for the planning of the heat emission systems, the dimensioning of the heat distribution systems, the determination of size of the heat generation systems with additional heat water storages as well as the usage of safety mechanisms in open and closed heating systems for residential and non-residential buildings.
