This Austrian Standard shall be applied to thermal insulation of all building elements of heating systems and heating installations for drinking water, the heat output performance of which is not intended to cover a heat load for space heating, a heat load for hot water or a process heat load. It is not applicable to district heating or cooling water pipelines, components of thermal solar systems in solar circuits, installed pipelines and their components in outdoor areas.
