Diese ÖNORM ist bei Herstellung und Prüfung von Unterputzdosen aus Insolierstoff anzuwenden. Die Dosen gemäß dieser ÖNORM können zur Montage von Schaltern, Steckdosen und ähnlichen elektrischen Geräten für Hausinstallationen verwendet werden.
