Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM ist für Herstellung und Prüfung von Unterputzdosen für Schraubbefestigung aus lsolierstoff anzuwenden. Die Unterputzdosen können zur Montage von Installationsgeräten und ähnlichen elektrischen Geräten für Hausinstallationen mit einem Befestigungsmaß von 60 mm oder als Abzweigdosen verwendet werden. Abschnitt 7 enthält Angaben für die Ausführung von Abzweigdosen. Sie ist nicht für Dosen die den Einbau geschützter Geräte erlauben, und nicht für Dosen die mit den Geräten eine Einheit bilden, anzuwenden.
