ÖNORM B 3850

This Austrian Standard includes specifications on the requirement, test and classifica-tion of revolving leaf doors and gates, swinging doors and gates, lifting, lifting link, tilting, rolling, sliding, folding doors and gates as well as tissue shutters in single or multi-leaf version from self or external controlled production, hereinafter referred to as fire resisting doorsets and/or smoke control shutters, corresponding to the fire re-sistance class specified in Table 1 or further European fire resistance classes and/or the smoke density specified in Table 2. This Austrian Standard applies to all fire resisting doorsets and/or smoke control shut-ters with one or more revolving leafs or consisting of one or more elements or leafs, independently of size, placing and use of the shutter (e.g. small shaft doors designed as revolving leafs), tested according to ÖNORM EN 1634-1 and/or ÖNORM EN 1634-3. This Austrian Standard does not apply to - attic closures according to ÖNORM B 3860 - external doors according to ÖNORM EN 14351-1 jointly with ÖNORM EN 16034 - gates according to ÖNORM EN 13241 jointly with ÖNORM EN 16034 - inspection window shutters tested according to ÖNORMEN 1364-1, ÖNORM EN 1364-2, ÖNORM EN 1365-1 or ÖNORM EN 1365-2.
