This Austrian Standard includes provisions concerning requirements, testing and marking of smoke control doors and shutters from manufacturing with third-party surveillance in the form of vertical lifting, sectional overhead, tilting, rolling, sliding and folding doors which, in closed state, restrict penetration of smoke within prescribed limits. Other smoke control doors and shutters according to ÖNORM B 3851 are not covered by this ÖNORM.
