Für die wichtigsten Handelshölzer wurden Kennwerte zusammen-gestellt. Im Abschnitt 2 werden mittlere elastische Eigen- schaftswerte und mittlere Bruchfestigkeiten, die bei kleinenfehlerfreien Proben festgestellt wurden, angegeben. Der Abschnitt 3 behandelt die Resistenz des ungeschützten Kernholzes bei lang anhaltend hoher Holzfeuchtigkeit oder bei Erdkontakt. Es werden 5 Resistenzklassen definiert und den Holzarten zugeordnet.
