§ Legal References
The technical rules for liquefied petroleum gas installations (F G-series) are applicable for all LPG-installations independent of their usage (private, commercial, industrial or agricultural) which are supplied with gas according to 3rd gas-family. The ÖVGW-guideline F G25 applies to the installation of LPG tanks up to a container volume of 13,000 litres. All used expressions have to be interpreted as overpressure if not defined otherwise. The technical rules for LPG-installations are not applicable for vehicles and boats. For LPG tanks with a volume of more than 13,000 litres, ÖNORM M 7323 must be applied. If several above-ground LPG tanks are installed simultaneously as a group of pressure vessels in which the total tank volume exceeds 13,000 litres, ÖNORM M 7323 must also be applied. Otherwise provided legal regulations and official notifications are not affected by the present guideline.
