Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM ist für Herstellung und Prüfung von Hohlwanddosen aus lsolierstoff anzuwenden. Die Hohlwanddosen können zur Montage von Schaltern, Steckdosen und ähnlichen elektrischen Geräten für Hausinstallationen mit einem Befestigungsmaß von 60 mm oder als Abzweigdosen verwendet werden. Sie ist nicht für Dosen die den Einbau geschützter Geräte erlauben, und nicht für Dosen die mit den Geräten eine Einheit bilden, anzuwenden.
