Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt für die Bekämpfung von Bränden in elektrischen Anlagen mit Betriebsspannungen über 50 V Wechselspannung oder 120 V Gleichspannung zwischen beliebigen Leitern und in der Nähe dieser Anlagen. Sie wurde vom Fachausschuss Elektrische Hochspannungsanlagen in Abstimmung mit Vertretern der Feuerwehren erarbeitet.
Auslöser für die Überarbeitung waren:
- die Anpassung der Begriffe an die neue Vorschrift für den Betrieb elektrischer Anlagen,
- geänderte technische Rahmenbedingungen,
- neue harmonisierte Normen für Feuerlöscher.
Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM gilt nicht für die Errichtung und den Betrieb ortsfester Löschanlagen.
