Diese ÖVE/ÖNORM ist die Bauartnorm für Aderleitungen für die feste Verlegung mit Nennspannung bis 450/750 V, isoliert mit halogenfreiem thermoplastischem Werkstoff, der im Brandfall nur geringe Mengen von Rauch und korrosiven Gasen abgibt. Für Leitungen mit 450/750 V Nennspannung stehen zwei Bauarten, Typ 1 und Typ 2, zur Verfügung. Typ 2 ist dafür ausgelegt, härtere Prüfanforderungen bezüglich Flammausbreitung (ÖVE/ÖNORM EN 50266-2-4), im Vergleich mit Typ 1, zu bestehen, und ist speziell für die Installation in Bündeln geeignet (siehe auch Anhang C). Die maximal zulässige Temperatur am Leiter beträgt 70 °C.
