Anforderungen an das Betriebsverhalten für tragbare, transportable und ortsfeste Geräte der Gruppe II (nach EN 50054) für das Aufspüren und die Messung von Konzentrationen brennbarer Gase oder Dämpfe in Luft. Die Geräte oder Teile davon sind für den Einsatz in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen, außer schlagwettergefährdeten Bergwerken bestimmt und müssen die allgemeinen Anforderungen und Prüfbedingungen der EN 50054 erfüllen. Die Bestimmung gilt nur für Geräte, die zum Aufspüren und für die Messung von Konzentrationen brennbarer Gase oder Dämpfe in Luft bis 100% der unteren Explosionsgrenze (UEG) eingesetzt werden sollen.
