Diese ÖNORM enthält Regeln für Strahlenschutzprüfungen in nuklearmedizinischen Betrieben. Bei diesen Überprüfungen ist zu berücksichtigen, daß die Wirksamkeit des Strahlenschutzes nicht nur von den Strahlenschutzmaßnahmen anläßlich der Errichtung abhängt, sondern auch von der Betriebsweise, von organisatorischen Maßnahmen und von der Arbeitsweise der tätigen Personen. Strahlenschutzprüfungen dienen der Beurteilung, ob in dem nuklearmedizinischen Betrieb die Einrichtungen vorhanden und die Maßnahmen getroffen sind, die nach dem Stand der Technik für einen ausreichenden Strahlenschutz erforderlich sind.
