The present Austrian Standard shall be applied jointly with ÖNORM EN 17232 „Play equipment in the water area of public baths - Technical safety requirements - Additional requirements to ÖNORM EN 17232“.
Exceeding the technical safety requirements for Water play equipment specified in ÖNORM EN 17232, this ÖNORM defines additional requirements relating to the construction and design of Water play equipment. Furthermore, water play equipment that is not included in ÖNORM EN 17232 is standardized.
NOTE: Committee 184 declares explicitly that the present ÖNORM S 4720 does not conflict with ÖNORM EN 17232.
