Diese ÖNORM ist bei der Herstellung, Untersuchung und Kennzeichnung von Kulturerden aus Kompost anzuwenden. Sie legt die Anforderungen fest, denen Kulturerden aus Kompost entsprechen müssen. Ziel ist es, bei sachgemäßer Handhabung dieser Produkte ein optimales Pflanzenwachstum zu erreichen. Die für die Herstellung und das Inverkehrbringen von Kulturerden aus Kompost verwendeten Komposte unterliegen den Bestimmungen der Kompostverordnung.
