Diese ÖNORM ist für Sonnenkollektoren anzuwenden, die für flüssige und phasenwechselnde Wärmeträger bestimmt sind und in aktiven sonnentechnischen Anlagen verwendet werden. Sie legt die Anforderungen an Sicherheit und Gebrauchstauglichkeit von Kollektoren, deren Werkstoffe, Prüfung und Prüfverfahren sowie die Kennzeichnung fest. Wesentliche Anforderungen betreffen Druck, Frostsicherheit, Temperaturbeständigkeit, Witterungsbeständigkeit, Korrosionsbeständigkeit und Norm-Stillstands-Temperatur.
