ÖNORM M 7387-3

This Austrian Standard specifies requirements for pipelines (hereinafter referred to shortly as cables) to be fixed between central gas distribution plants and terminal units according to ÖNORM M 7387-1 or ÖNORM M 7387-2. It shall be applied to compressed, liquefied under pressure or dissolved under pressure as well as deep-frozen liquefied gases mentioned in ÖNORM M 7387-1 and ÖNORM M 7387-2, if the liquefied gases are transmitted in gaseous state. For other gases and gas mixtures, the present Austrian Standard may be applied analogously. This Austrian Standard does not apply to - gas extinguishing systems according to TRVB 152/15 S - gases subject to the Decree on Liquefied Gases (FGV 2002) The requirements for cables for gases for medical purposes are specified in ÖNORM EN ISO 7396-1. All pressures specified in bar are excessive pressures, exept the vapour pressure, specified as absolute pressure.
