This Austrian Standard specifies requirements for the installation of stationary operat-ed steam or hot water boilers (hereinafter referred to as „boilers“ according to § 3 Pressure Vessels Act).
Exempted are boilers which are mobile during operation , e.g. steam boilers for vehicle drive.
This Austrian Standard does not regulate the bringing into circulation of steam boilers in the sense of the Dual Pressure Vessel Decree (DDGV)
This Austrian Standard does not cover the aspecs which may arise by mutual influence of equipment or equipment parts which do not belong to the boiler system. These have to be considered separately
