Therapiebäder bedürfen zur Sicherstellung der Beckenwasserqualität einer Wasseraufbereitung. Diese ÖNORM enthält die hiefür erforderlichen Bestimmungen für die Aufbereitungsanlagen. Durch die Einhaltung der folgenden Bestimmungen wird die geforderte Beschaffenheit des Beckenwassers gemäß Bäderhygieneverordnung sichergestellt. Therapiebäder, die mit reduzierten Wässern und ohne Wasseraufbereitung betrieben werden, sind nicht Gegenstand dieser ÖNORM.
