This ÖNORM is applicable to systems that are used for disinfection or other treatment of water (eg drinking water, industrial water, wastewater) with ozone or used as an oxidation step in the treatment facilities of swimming pool water. This ÖNORM is applicable to ozone generating facilities, which operate on the principle of dielectric barrier discharge. The subject of this standard are ozone generation plants that use dry air, but not for those generators are operated with oxygen or oxygen-enriched air.
