In dieser ÖNORM werden Anforderungen an Immissionsmeßgeräte zur Messung von Stickstoffdioxid festgelegt. Die Anforderungen umfassen Nachweisgrenze, Meßbereich, Wiederholstandardabweichung, Nullpunkts- und Meßwertdrift, Linearität der Kalibrierfunktion, Totzeit, Anstiegs- und Abfallzeit, Querempfindlichkeit und Verfügbarkeit. Die durchzuführenden Prüfungen werden genau beschrieben. Diese ÖNORM sieht eine Normkennzeichnung gemäß § 3(1) Normengesetz 1971 vor. Die Prüfung hat die Form einer Typ-Prüfung.
