The present Austrian Standard serves as basis for the basic verification of firing systems and combustion engines. It shall be applied to systems fired with liquid and gaseous fuels as well as solid fuels. The verification described in this ÖNORM shall be used to determinate the correct function of the waste gas losses as well as emissions of carbon monoxide and, in addition, to determinate the smoke soot number for liquid fuels.
