Die Bestimmung von flüchtigen organischen Verbindungen (VOCs), die aus Bauprodukten emittiert werden, mit Hilfe von Emissionsprüfkammern dient dazu, Emissionsdaten zur Verfügung zu stellen, die zur Bewertung des Einflusses von Bauprodukten auf die Beschaffenheit der Innenraumluft geeignet sind. Das Laborprüfverfahren kann im Allgemeinen für die meisten festen und flüssigen (auf festem Trägermaterial) Bauprodukte im Innenraum eingesetzt werden. Die Probenahme, der Transport und die Lagerung des zu prüfenden Materials sowie die Vorbereitung der Prüfstücke werden im Teil 3 dieser Vornorm beschrieben.
