Diese Internationale Norm beschreibt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung von Chrom in einer aus Leder erhaltenen wässrigen Lösung und ist eine weiterentwickelte Version des bestehenden IULTCS-Verfahrens IUC 8. Die Norm beschreibt die Bestimmung von Chrom durch Induktiv Gekoppeltes Plasma/Optische Emissionsspektrometrie und ist vorgesehen für die Anwendung bei Ledern, bei denen Chromoxidgehalte im Bereich von 1 ppm bis 100 ppm vermutet werden. Im vorliegenden Fall handelt es sich um eine Analyse des Gesamtchromgehaltes in Leder, die nicht verbindungsspezifisch oder spezifisch für die Oxidationsstufe ist. Die Norm enthält zwei Verfahren zur Herstellung der zu analysierenden Lösung. Im Streitfall ist das Nassoxidationsverfahren anzuwenden.
