Diese Internationale Norm legt Anforderungen für die Einteilung von Fülldrahtelektroden und Füllstäben mit
schlackebildender und Metallpulver-Füllung zum Metall-Lichtbogenschweißen mit oder ohne Gasschutz von
korrosionsbeständigen und hitzebeständigen Stählen fest. Die Einteilung beruht auf der chemischen
Zusammensetzung des reinen Schweißgutes, der Art der Füllung, dem Schutzgas, der Schweißposition und
den mechanischen Eigenschaften des reinen Schweißgutes im Schweißzustand oder nach einer
Wärmenachbehandlung.
Diese Internationale Norm ist eine kombinierte Norm und benutzt zur Einteilung ein System entsprechend der
Nennzusammensetzung oder entsprechend auf dem Legierungstyp.
