Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen für vier Typen von Schläuchen und Schlauchleitungen mit Drahtgeflechteinlagen vom Nenndurchmesser 5 bis 51 fest; sie sind geeignet zur Verwendung mit: - Hydraulikflüssigkeiten nach ISO 6743-4 mit Ausnahme von HFD R, HFD S und HFD T in einem Temperaturbereich von -40 °C bis +100 °C; - wässrigen Flüssigkeiten in einem Temperaturbereich von -40 °C bis +70 °C; - Wasser in einem Temperaturbereich von 0 °C bis +70 °C. Die Norm enthält keine Anforderungen an die Armaturen. Sie beschränkt sich auf die Leistungsfähigkeit der Schläuche und Schlauchleitungen. In dieser Norm ist die Europäische Berichtigung AC:2007 enthalten. Die Berichtigung betrifft die Tabelle 4 - Maximaler Arbeitsdruck, Prüfdruck und Berstdruck.
