This European Standard specifies the mechanical safety requirements and test methods for outdoor tables
used by adults for camping, domestic and contract use without regard to materials, design/construction or
manufacturing processes.
This document does not apply to outdoor furniture for severe contract use where higher requirements may be
necessary, nor does it apply to street furniture and furniture permanently fixed to the ground/wall.
Annex A (informative) specifies guidelines for purchase information.
Information regarding ageing and degradation caused by light, temperature and moisture has not been
included.
