Behandelt sind Schlauchkupplungen mit selbsttätiger Gassperre für Geräte für Schweißen, Schneiden und verwandte Verfahren zum Anschließen der Gasschläuche sowohl an Druckregler und Brenner als auch zum Verbinden der Gasschläuche untereinander. Diese Schlauchkupplungen sind mit einer selbsttätigen Gassperre ausgerüstet, welche im entkuppelten Zustand den Gasaustritt aus dem Kupplungskörper verhindert. Das Verbinden und das Lösen der Schlauchkupplungen unter Druck kann von Hand erfolgen. Behandelt sind die an solche Schlauchkupplungen zu stellenden Anforderungen und deren Überprüfung.
