Diese ÖNORM legt ein Verfahren zur Bestimmung des Flammpunktes für Lacke, Anstrichstoffe und ähnliche Produkte fest, deren Flammpunkt unter 110 °C liegt. Das in dieser ÖNORM festgelegte Gerät ermöglicht es, Ergebnisse schnell und mit einer kleinen Probemenge (2 ml) zu erhalten. Das Gerät kann tragbar ausgeführt werden, so daß es sowohl für die Feldprüfung als auch für die übliche Laborprüfung geeignet ist.
