Diese Norm enthält allgemeine technische Anforderungen an Auslaufventile und Mischbatterien der Nenngrößen 1/2 und PN 10 bei einem Mindestfließdruck von 0,5 bar und einer Maximaltemperatur von 90 °C. Die Anforderungen beziehen sich auf Dichtheit, Festigkeit, mechanisches und hydraulisches Verhalten, Verschleißverhalten sowie das Geräuschverhalten.
