Diese Europäische Norm beschreibt und spezifiziert die Anforderungen an die Einstufung von Nadelvlies-Bodenbelägen als Rollenware in Gebrauchsklassen unter Berücksichtigung von Verschleiß und Aussehenserhalt und in eine Komfortklasse. Diese Bodenbeläge sind zum ganzflächigen Kleben auf dem Unterboden vorgesehen. Diese Norm ist auch auf Fliesen anwendbar; die zusätzlichen Anforderungen an Fliesen sind in Anhang A enthalten. Diese Norm gilt nicht für Polvlies-Bodenbeläge. Die vorliegende Norm bezieht sich auf die in EN 685 festgelegte Einstufung.
