Dieses Dokument legt Anforderungen, neben den in EN 14081-1 angegebenen, an die Erstprüfung für maschinell sortiertes Bauholz für tragende Zwecke mit rechteckigem Querschnitt fest, welches durch Sägen, Hobeln oder andere Produktionsverfahren hergestellt wurde und die zulässigen Maßabweichungen nach EN 336 einhält. Anforderungen an Maschinen, die nach Festigkeit sortieren, und an Prüfeinrichtungen für die Prüfung von Bauholz, das durch Prüfbelastung sortiert wurde, sowie Sonderanforderungen an Referenzbohlen zur Prüfung des dynamischen Leistungsvermögens von Sortiermaschinen sind ebenfalls enthalten.
