Diese Europäische Norm legt Definitionen und Eigenschaften von Bitumenbahnen mit Trägereinlage fest, die für eine Anwendung als Wasserdampfsperre in Bauwerken vorgesehen sind. Ferner werden Bedingungen festgelegt, unter denen einem Produkt die Konformität mit dieser Europäischen Norm bescheinigt und es der CE-Kennzeichnung unterzogen wird. Diese Norm erfasst auch zusätzliche Eigenschaften, die für den Handel von Bedeutung sind. Die Wasserdampf-Sperrbahnen für Gebäude werden nach den Anforderungen und den zusätzlichen Prüfungen eingeteilt, die unter besonderen Bedingungen notwendig werden.
