Die Festlegungen beziehen sich derzeit auf Stähle mit ausreichender Duktilität. Nicht enthalten sind Festlegungen für den Zeitstandsbereich. Das jeweils anzuwendende Konformitätsbewertungsverfahren ist beschrieben. Weiters sind Regeln für die Festlegung von technischen Lieferbedingungen enthalten.
