Diese Europäische Norm legt Anforderungen an Mischgüter der Mischgutgruppe Hot-Rolled-Asphalt fest. Sie behandelt auch das Verfahren zur Auswahl der Bestandteile. Hot-Rolled-Asphalt ist eine Bezeichnung für dichte Mischgüter mit Ausfallkörnung aus bitumenhaltigem Bindemittel, groben und feinen mineralischen Gesteinskörnungen und Füller - die als kombinierte Korngrößenverteilung angegeben werden -, bei denen in erster Linie der Mörtel aus feiner Gesteinskörnung, Füller und hochviskosen Bindemitteln und ihre charakteristisch niedrigen Hohlraumgehalte zur Festigkeit, Dauerhaftigkeit und Leistung der eingebauten Materialien beitragen. Hot-Rolled-Asphalt kann für alle Verkehrs- und Klimabedingungen auf Straßen, Flugplätzen und sonstigen Verkehrsflächen verwendet werden. Er wird für Deckschichten, Binderschichten, Ausgleichsschichten und Tragschichten verwendet.
