Diese Norm ist anzuwenden für die Konstruktion und Fertigung, für den Einbau der Sicherheitseinrichtungen und für Informationen zum Gebrauch, zur Instandhaltung und zur Prüfung von Fahrzeugkranen wie sie in ISO 4306-2 definiert sind, mit Ausnahme von Ladekranen (siehe 3.1.1 in EN 12999:2002).
