Behandelt ist eine Einteilung zur Bezeichnung von Fülldrahtelektroden zum Metall-Schutzgasschweißen für kriechfeste und niedriglegierte warmfeste Stähle, basierend auf der chemischen Zusammensetzung des reinen Schweißgutes.Es sollte beachtet werden, daß die für die Einteilung der Stabelektroden benutzten mechanischen Eigenschaften des reinen Schweißgutes abweichen können von denen, die an Fertigungsschweißungen erreicht werden. Dies ist bedingt durch Unterschiede bei der Durchführung des Schweißens, wie z. B. Elektrodendurchmesser, Pendelung, benutztes Schutzgas, Schweißposition und Werkstoffzusammensetzung.
