Diese Norm gilt für kornorientiertes Elektroblech und -band der Nenndicken 0,23 mm, 0,27 mm, 0,30 mm und 0,35 mm. Sie enthält die allgemeinen Anforderungen, die magnetischen Eigenschaften, die geometrischen Eigenschaften und Toleranzen, die technologischen Eigenschaften sowie die Prüfbedingungen. Sie erfaßt kornorientiertes Elektroblech und -band mit Goß-Textur, das im schlußgeglühten Zustand in Form von Tafeln oder Rollen geliefert wird und für den Bau magnetischer Kreise bestimmt ist. Die Erzeugnisse sind in drei Klassen unterteilt: - Erzeugnisse mit normalen Ummagnetisierungsverlusten, - Erzeugnisse mit eingeschränkten Ummagnetisierungs- verlusten,- Erzeugnisse mit niedrigen Ummagnetisierungsverlusten (mit hoher Permeabilität). Die Erzeugnisse entsprechen dem Abschnitt C 22 der IEC-Publikation 404-1.
