Diese ÖNORM ist bei Herstellung und Prüfung von Unterputzdosen aus Isolierstoff anzuwenden. Die Dosen gemäß dieser ÖNORM können zur Montage von Schaltern, Steckdosen und ähnlichen elektrischen Geräten für Hausinstallationen verwendet werden. Es werden die Unterputzdosen für Spreizbefestigung behandelt. Diese ÖNORM ist nicht für Hohlwanddosen und nicht für solche Dosen anzuwenden, die mit den Geräten eine Einheit bilden.
