Diese ÖNORM beinhaltet Anforderungen an das Abwasserverhalten von Reinigungsmitteln ("Kaltreiniger" bzw. "Lösungmittelreiniger") auf nicht wässriger Basis (in der Folge kurz "Kaltreiniger" genannt), die in Gewerbe und Industrie (zB in Kfz-Werkstätten, Garagen, Tankstellen und einschlägigen Nebenbetrieben) zur Anwendung kommen, bei denen die Abwasseraufbereitung über Mineralölabscheider erfolgt. Diese ÖNORM beinhaltet auch das Verfahren zur Kennzeichnung der Normkonformität von Kaltreinigern.
