This ÖNORM has to be applied for corrosion protection on the basis of organic materials for pipeline and plant components made of cement-bound materials, which are used for water supply, waste water disposal and waste water treatment. This ÖNORM serves for assessing the corrosion-likelihood of cement-bound materials and for determining the corrosion load likely to act upon the corrosion protection system; this standard also contains suggestions for the selection of surface protection systems. Excluded are other protective measures e. g. complete or partial linings with segments made of plastics or ceramic materials. This ÖNORM is only to be applied in concern of corrosion loads caused by soil, water and condensate.
