Diese ÖNORM ist in Ergänzung zur ÖNORM B 3358-1 anzuwenden und gilt für nichttragende Innenwandsysteme, die aus Holzwolle- oder Holzspan-Dämmplatten mit Baukleber "voll auf Fug" in Stoß- und Lagerfuge im Dünnbettverfahren vermauert werden. Die Oberflächen der Wände dürfen mit Putzmörtel auf Kalk-, Zement- oder Gipsbasis hergestellt werden. Im Anhang A (informativ) sind in der Tabelle A.1 und Tabelle A.2 für nichttragende Innenwandsysteme aus Holzwolle- bzw. Holzspan-Dämmplatten einschließlich Putzmörtel Eigenschaften hinsichtlich des Brand-, Wärme- und Schallschutzes angegeben, gemäß ÖNORM B 3358-1.
