The present Austrian Standard is applicable to masonry, rendering and plastering mortars mixed (recipe mortar) and processed on site. It includes data on binders, aggregates as well as on mixing water and mixing ratio. For suitability test mortars as well as for thin-bed mortars, ÖNORM EN 998-1 and ÖNORM EN 998-2 shall be applied. Site mixed mortars where aggregates of admixtures are used are not covered by this Standard.
